The enclosed battery chargers are contained in a painted steel enclosure rated at IP 55. Cubicles are available which accommodate charger only, both charger and battery and battery only. Used with the GM-014, GM-022 and GM-023 series of battery chargers.
INSTRUMENTATION AND METERING
ADC voltmeter and DC Ammeter are placed in the output of the battery charger to monitor the changing current and battery voltage. In addition, a front panel LED display provides visual indication of the following:
AC Supply available
High battery voltage
Low battery voltage
The high battery volts, low battery volts and power fail alarms are also available as volt free changeover relay contacts for remote alarm and monitoring purposes.
The charging characteristic is initially a constant current which automatically tapers off to a very low level of trickle current as the battery rises towards the preset float voltage. The circuitry is all solid state with generous deratings of all components to provide maximum reliability.

The enclosed battery chargers as mentioned above can also be incorporated into Uninterruptible Power Supplies. The chargers and batteries are enclosed in a painted steel enclosure rated at IP 55. Used with the GM-014, GM-022 and GM-023 series of battery chargers.
